Computing

We enjoyed celebrating Art's week in Computing with our lessons at school involving digital media. Year 1 enjoyed their first opportunity to use the school iPads and exploring Whiteboards. Just draw together, they created pumpkins inspired by Yayoi Kusama. Picasso's Cubism technique was reproduced in Year 2 where the children used a variety of tools in Paintz app. Year 3 children recreated Henri Matisse's 'Snail' by manipulating shapes in Google Drawings. In Year 4, the children used a photo filtering App 'Be Funky' to transform ideas into a pointillism image inspired by George Seurat's "Sunday Afternoon". In Year 5, the children used Canva to make  their own pop art in the style of Roy Lichtenstein and Year 6 used the Tayasui Sketches App to create some Leonardo da Vinci portraits.

Mrs Hart enjoyed seeing all the children back at school ready for an exciting year in Computing.
