This morning, Friday 22nd November, a group of Year 6 children went to the Civic Offices to meet with the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Marie Bradburn.

The Mayor was keen to discuss cycling with the children, all of whom have their Level 2 Bikeability award.

The discussion centred around ways we can encourage more adults, as well as children, to cycle around the city rather than always using the car.

It was a great honour for them to sit in the Mayor's chambers discussing strategic matters.
