The children in Year one have been busy designing and making finger puppets in their DT lessons.

We looked at and explored different types of puppets and how they work first.

We then designed our puppets carefully, thinking about what we wanted them to look like and what we would use to make them.

On Wednesday afternoon we made our puppets, sewing together our 2 pieces of felt using running stitch. The children all did a fantastic job and showed great concentration and perseverance.

Well done everyone! Thank you to all the parent helpers who came along to help. It was a fun and productive afternoon.
