World Autism Acceptance Week

Supporting the NAS for World Autism Accemptance Week.
Mrs Thomson, Mrs Barnett, Mrs Gilbert, Mrs Nash and Ms Squires took part in a Colour Spectrum Walk for World Autism Acceptance Week. On a very wet and windy day, they walked laps around Furzton lake. In total, they raised over £300 for the National Autistic Society:
There are over 150, 000 people on the waiting list for an autism assessment in the UK. 70% of autistic people experience mental health problems. Only 29% of autistic people are in employment. We hope that the money raised will help improve support for autistic children and their families.
