New School Mural

New School Mural
No doubt you've noticed a big change at the front of our school which was kindly started by Mr Cunningham before the holiday.
Over the Easter holiday, Miss Frankish spent some time painting the first designs of a new school mural. Making use of the incredible weather during the first week of the holiday, she managed to paint a second coat of white paint, complete the first section of the mural by the Foundation Stage gate and began painting smaller sections of the wall. Despite the glorious weather, she faced many challenges, from extremely green fingers to vengeful pigeons leaving gifts on the paintwork and unusual sunburn!
Nonetheless, she very much appreciated the lovely visits from parents and students alike and even a bag of Haribos from Ayla in Year 6!
Thank you to the school community for your support, and if you spot Miss Frankish painting, make sure you say hello. The mural will be painted gradually throughout the half-term and the children will be getting involved in the coming weeks, so watch this space!
