Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day
This morning, at 11 AM, CHPS held two minutes of silence to reflect on the tragedy of war. Children and staff across the school conducted this solemn act with great respect for the significance of the sacrifice made by those who lost their lives. We remembered people who have served and sacrificed for and alongside the UK, including the armed forces, emergency services, and all those affected. This reminds us that whenever there is fighting, there is always a human cost, both for the people fighting and for the people living in the countries involved. As a school community, we came together and reflected on the tragedy of lives already lost, while aspiring to be a small part of creating a world where there is increased respect and tolerance—where war is a thing of the past.
