This half-term, Year 6 have been studying light in science. Recently, we have been exploring how light travels in straight lines. In our first lesson, we looked at how a light beam cannot change direction but will disperse outwards from its source. We also explored how placing an opaque object in front of a light source will create a shadow. We also discovered how the shape of a shadow will never change but can change in size depending on how close it is to the source.
