Y3 Trip to Woburn Safari Park

Year 3 enjoyed a trip to Woburn Safari Park this week, where they got upclose to many amazing wild animals before attending a fantastic workshop.

First, we had a guided coach tour, which was led by a very informative Education Ranger.

Then, we had time to explore the Foot Safari, where children particularly loved the Land of Lemurs, as we got to see 6 week-old baby lemurs playing with their siblings - they were so cute!

The wallabies and meerkats were also a big hit with the children.  After lunch, it was time to visit the Enrichment Centre, for a session on 'Senses and Movement' (which linked to our science topic ‘animals including humans’).

The children really impressed the Educational Ranger with their scientific knowledge on the subject!  Well done Year 3 on learning new, fascinating animal facts - it certainly was a fun, interesting, educational day!
